Hi,
I like to give Champagne as xmas presents to a few people.
Last year I got a bottle of Bollinger for £25 in Sainsburys, but this year it is £40 odd quid!
Has anybody seen any Bollinger or Veuve Clicquot for around £25 anywhere?
I can see its £32.50 in Tesco but thats still a bit steep.
Thanks.

Thanks but I only want two bottles unfortunately!0

Tesco have 25% off 6 bottles wine/champagne. Normally if you buy six bottles of any combination you will get the 25% off. Could you not find 4 bottles of a cheap drinkable wine that you may use?
Prices before 25%
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Non Vintage Champagne £30 Nice Box
Bollinger Champagne Non Vintage 75Cl £32.49
Alternatively if you have any nectar points its a double up this weekend at Sainsburys0 -
Aldi's £12 champagne is really nice and has won on many taste tests between better known brands0

Thanks. Im not a wine drinker myself. Im tempted to go to sains and get the veuve as long as i get the difference off my next shop through brand match. Was hoping some Aldi or Lidl shoppers had spotted a bargain.
Might check morrisons actually as ithink they were cheap last year too.
I got a bottle of 12 year old whiskey from sains, was down from £32 to £24, thought £8 off, good bargain, got to the till, £4 off my next shop! I assume it must have been £20 in Tesco or Asda.0 -
Which blind taste tests have found that Co-Op sparkling wine is the best of the bunch and it's on offer at the moment for £6.50. I know that's not useful for the OP - just putting it here as it's related somewhat and might be useful to someone reading this thread0

If you have nectar points you can double up your points in Sainsburys to get a £20 voucher to use of champagne etc

Lidl's IMO has the best champagne. I got several bottles of champagne for my 40th, expensive and cheap, and Lidl's was far better than the really expensive bottles.Debts :Paypal £1981.32
