Mbna

On a recent trip back 'down sarf' we pulled into a service station and i waited for everyone to do the usual pee/fag/eat stuff and was approached by a woman asking if i'd like a credit card with MBNA. Well after nearly chocking on my service station coffee:rolleyes: ( i owe them thousands and haven't paid them a penny for over 4 months-cos i can't not cos i won't) i told her i had a card with them but she insisted this was a 'better' card and i could have it as well.
I decided to see what would happen and gave her all my details honestly, except for my address, which i gave my previous address, which is now my parents address.
Lo and behold one week later they recieved an MBNA card and pin number for me!!
I'm shocked, i thought they were suppose to check throughly. Also if my parents were criminals they now have a credit card AND pin number in their mitts.
They, of course returned the card and pin.
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Thanks MBNA for the lending of 12k (between them and virgin card, same group) and the waste of paper informing me so...

I have been 'up north' all week, and have also been 'badgered' at motorway service stations by MBNA 'sales' people.
Yesterday I was almost tempted to say yes, and see what the resons would be. MBNA were one of my most difficult creditors.
Pleased to say - sanity prevailed.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
