Could you get away with a onesie? Matalan are doing some lovely festive patterns. They might even have festive PJs I've not looked.

    Love this: http://www.matalan.co.uk/mens/categories/nightwear/s2537704/alpine-jersey-onesie

    Xmas Saver!
Primark do x-small men's clothes. May be worth looking in there.
  • Um, at the risk of sounding like a curmudgeon, are you sure he still wants them... I realise it's a family tradition and all that, but maybe he'd prefer something less specifically festive now he's 14? I know if I gave my DS Christmas pyjamas he'd wear them once to please me then never wear them again. Just sayin'... feel free to shoot me down in flames.

    I will...

He's severely autistic and more like a five year old

  • I noticed Store 21 had some festive onesies on sale as I was passing, maybe worth a try?

That is uncalled for, the poster was trying to be helpful she doesn't have psychic powers. For what its worth we are all different, my son is autistic too and wouldn't want babyish items merely because his parents (ie me and OH) felt he was emotionally younger, he would still want what his peer group had at the same age and Rudolph pyjamas sound a bit twee unless your 5, trying to keep him 5 or 25 in an ironic way

lmfao he's severely autistic love,he has no concept of peers or what is 'normal' for his age (or at all,in fact).he likes what he likes, which includes tinkerbell if you want to dig at that too.

It was not uncalled for.Was hardly a harsh response to the poster was it?Fed up of having to explain my son when I want anything for him or talk about anything

  • I saw some 'lounge pants' in Heatons today in the men's department - Rudolf in santa hat print - completely covered. Depending how big he is maybe small would fit. They were £7. You would need to find a Christmas t-shirt to go with them to make a set of pjs though.

You are NEVER too old for Christmas pyjamas!
