mortgage with bad credit & not a UK tax payer ?

Hi all.
I've not got the best credit rating but able to come up at 25% down payment on a property.
This is going through companies that are will fund me because of my bad credit history. The problem is none of these will now accept me because I am not a UK tax payer. I work abroad for 6 weeks and then return to UK for 3 weeks off. Offshore mortgage companies will not help due to my poor credit.
Does anyone know if there was any way around this ?

Speak to a broker, take your credit reports with you and your employment contract.
Bad credit can mean anything from late payments through to bankruptcy - it could be last month or 5 years ago.
With a 25% deposit its usually possible to place the vast majority of applications but you will need a broker for it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks ACG. I've spoken to a 2nd broker that could help but then my process stalls when they realise i'm not a UK tax payer. This seems to make all the difference.0
