HUGE Polar White Throws

Options
Good people of MSE, I am going slightly crackers.

I need a sofa throw around 102x155" and it has to be a nice clean white to go with my Christmas/snowy/wonderland-y kind of look.

I can't find one ANYWHERE and it's driving me crazy!!!

I thought about just getting fabric and sewing it together but it's coming in at around 60 quid which seems ridiculous!

I don't really care what fabric as long as it's white.

Please help!

Ikea sell white fleece throw-overs for a sofa.

Yep, but they're all no bigger than 170/180cm which is way too small :/
  • Have had something similar last year from La Redoute and there are always codes about, may be worth a look! Also depends on how much use you plan to get from it, if it's just for Christmas try Asda or Primark, if it's going to stay a little longer maybe M&S?

We bought two of them for our sofa, you dont see the join ;). Failing that your only alternative is a cotton bedsheet.

I can't even find bedsheets that size :( the trouble is it's a leather sofa so I need it to go all the way down the back, almost to the floor, otherwise it just slips off as soon as anyone sits down. I hate leather sofas...

can you just confirm the sizes again - are you really expecting to find a 155"(~4m) x 102" (2.6m) throw for <£60?
Seriously, the biggest throw you are likely to find anywhere is 200x220 - 78"x86"

Would 2 or 3 smaller cheaper ones sewn together not work?

I got several throws that size off ebay for 30 quid, they just don't do white ones.

Small ones sewn together would work, I'd still be looking at around 60 quid though and TBH I'm rubbish at sewing but will try if I have to.
  • Amazon do some big ones
