How is everyone receiving things so quickly? Do you all have Prime? Last year/year before things arrived the next day but Amazon super saver delivery is now so slow to dispatch that I'm not expecting anything to arrive until at least next week

I've already had the despatch email for mine and that's with the super saver option. When it turns up remains to be seen....

Well I have been soooooo restrained this year!

Just the marmite salt and pepper thing (we are obsessed by it in this house) and a tangle teaser

For the love of all that's holy I hope they get a [STRIKE]KitchenAid [/STRIKE]on in the next 3 days.......I think I already know the answer....

I've checked and that particular order is marked as 'dispatching soon' but I've not had the email and the two orders I put in yesterday are nowhere near being dispatched yet. Annoying as I bought the Atlas and somebody else on this thread has already received theirs!

The last time I ordered from Amazon I put in two orders two days apart; Amazon saved packaging by putting both in the same box which was great but it was marked as 'dispatching now' for 5 days and I didn't receive anything until 9 days after the original order - beyond the last estimated delivery date

Up until recently things were arriving well before the estimated delivery time but not any more.

Doesn't stop me loving Black Friday week and fully embracing it by making numerous impulse purchases of things I really don't need!

Okay, okay, I know I'm late! I'm now working full time, and can't trust the cat to watch Amazon all day for me!

I've not managed to get anything yet, but have been cheered to see the return of the catflap, socks and Angle Poise lamps.

I don't have Prime but the Nespresso I ordered yesterday was delivered today :T. Have only ordered some moisturiser today- just off to have a look at tomorrow's menu ....

I managed to get a ginormous squirrel puzzle dog toy for the mutts, £30 down to £14. Got 2 of the things you put in their bowls to stop them eating so quickly £18 to £11 (my friend got me one of them) and a Lamaze baby toy for £6 I think. Not a bad haul, but can't see anything too exciting on tomorrow list...

Didn't know there was a collection option on amazon. I ended up buying a book on learning mandarin for £1 to get super saver delivery. How does the collection thing work then. Where would I collect from?

It shows you your nearest collection point when you put your postcode in. Mine is the local Co-op. It was just as expensive for me though. I forgot about the £1 book this for super saver delivery dammit, let a deal go earlier as the postage was too high.

I've not been paying much attention to these deals, as a BF first timer I am still not sure where to find the deals. I am wanting an Ipod Classic, but how will I know if and when they are included?
