Probably to give themselves a chance to check the resell value, or decide if someone will be impressed at receiving it as a gift. I find it annoying as well lol, don't worry

My phone doesn't allow me to click through from items on black Friday listings to the product information page before the deals are live. I sometimes quickly place an item in my basket as it becomes live and then check out the product information page before deciding either the price hasn't been reduced enough or it isn't quite what I am looking for.

The Patron came up for me and I just missed it because my girlfriend wanted me to watch celebrities cry on TV... one less present for her :P lol

Well that was an odd evening. The Lego stationery had sold out within a second, and I immediately joined the wait list at no 237. Ten minutes later I was at no 248.

Missed the Johnnie Walker as well.

The evening gets odder - my position in the queue just appeared earlier, and now I can't get to it.

I managed to get the Doctor Who Complete Series 7 on blu-ray for my brother earlier, but I'm not having any luck with the Patron and there's only a few minutes to go now .

I rejoined the queue after missing my opportunity and it told me I was ~500 lol, I don't expect to get it now
