I was walking down the street yesterday....

When a flipping seagull did it's business on my head.
No warning, just a horrible warm splat on the crown of my head.
After cleaning myself up (not a nice experience in works toilet), I got to thinking, whilst I am not particularly superstitious, perhaps if my luck is ever to change (a very poor 6 months comping) this has to be the omen!
So in the interests of empirical research (sort of) I thought would document my success rate or otherwise for the next 4 weeks (or until I get bored) to compare against the winless 4 weeks previously.

No wems or calls, but getting home a surprise win! Snitch on blu-ray. Haven't got a blu ray player yet though!
thoughts: A promising start, but not enough to get my hopes up yet!

:rotfl: great attitude. Thanks for sharing the empirical research. Fink we need some other groups to do it justice. Perhaps someone who has broken a mirror and a 'control' subject who has done nothing, and hasn't left the house for weeks
Blu XI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology

Have you considered whether one splattering was enough? Perhaps you should go walkabouts and see if you can't grab another piece of 'good luck' from somewhere. It would help statistically when analysing the results

I feel ya mate!
A few months ago, literally just as I was stepping onto the bus on my way to work that morning, a seagull pooped on my shoulder! I guess I could say I was lucky it wasn't my head! lol
I bought a lotto ticket that day, but nada. I think I did win a chocolate bar though, but nothing else until October. My biggest win came this month.
So who knows?
Fingers crossed for you being extra lucky!February wins: Theatre tickets0
