Anyone else daft enough to be doing this? :j

I started last February and have kept it up. Every day. Up to 42mins of it depending on which CD I'm on.

The Trondheim University Fitness Calculator tells me I'm 35 now - (I'm nearly 50 in real age)

I saw the TV ad. Checked the Amazon reviews and then invested £100+. One of the best things I ever bought.

Anyone else doing this?

Well done you.. My son who's 23 hurt his ankle after 7 weeks and stopped, but does plan to start again. My daughter is 21 but has scoloyosis (sp) and complained it hurt her back. Me at 55 lasted less than 2 mins
  • I completed it last year :) dropped a dress size and have kept it off.

Started a second cycle and got bored so now run and powerlift.

Would love Chalene's stuff to be released in the UK!

Not many of us doing this - I am surprised.

    No equipment needed, fantastic results.
In comparison, gym membership or buying bits of home gym equipment is just procrastination. Like when people go an a diet and start by saying "What can I eat?".

  • If you have an xbox one with live subscription you can get the Insanity workout for free. I am going to start doing it after Christmas! Had a little play about with it and it does look good but hard!

  • Wanted to try this but couldn't afford it. Tomorrow I will be starting a combination of x-trainfit and 30 day shred instead. Might save up for insanity depending how I get on with those.

I wouldn't put much emphasis on the second link. The calculator tells me I'm 32, I'm actually 64. I am pretty fit as I'm a runner but I'm nowhere near a fit 32 year old.
    It's someone else's fault.

it says I am 40, not bad considering I am an 47 clinically obese female ex-smoker with a severely bad back (T12-L3) who excercises once a week but doesn't get out of breath or break a sweat...

I have Insanity and I tried it last year. It's a great workout and definitely works if you combine it with a decent diet. My only problem is I got bored of the same exercises. Found I had more fun at the local park with short sprints combined with bodyweight exercises.

I might try the updated workout DVD by the same Shaun T, Focus 25:
