You are probably best off asking on the benefits board.
But there are a couple of things someone is bound to ask, so I will - don't take it the wrong way. It just helps with the advice! The normal medical advice for people with chronic back problems is to NOT stay in bed - it might help if you could explain more about the condition you have and why you are unable to walk. Not questioning your word - just that it will help people understand the situation. And also - private medical care? That's normally costly. It may also help if you explain this.0
