What sort of thing do they like? In the past we've paid for a day out to a historic property, paid for a meal, got an annual membership for a local organisation, done a 'make your own monopoly' set for them, paid for a cleaner for a few months, got vouchers for a photo-book (and showed them how to do it!), and got tickets for a show.0

I've bought my in-laws tickets for a show. This is at the one theatre that my FIL will drive to, so hope they like it. Mind you last year, he was made up when my BIL bought him a supermarket voucher, would be the easiest choice!0
