thats really good did not take that long to sell though i imagine very hard hope you are ok xx

Thanks rhosynbach accepted the offer through tears. :o Prices are so expensive down here it is very difficult for families to find affordable housing. At the end of the day it is only money to me nothing will bring my mum back. I went with my heart. :heart2:

I did have 2 more viewings booked at the weekend but just want it all over and done with, hardest bit was putting it on the market at all with 45 years of memories. Fingers crossed all goes through ok as they do have a flat to sell, they have had offer from a first time buyer so hopefully all will be ok. :)

Thanks aau I don't care what they do to it but it is nice to think that I have hopefully, if all goes well, given a family with 2 young boys an affordable home rather than a landlord/developer to make a profit. I do think my mum would be happy with my decision. :A

I liked the lady when she looked around and knew I would probably let it go pretty low if she did make an offer. Not that I told the Estate Agent that. But he had been saying to me when I mentioned I would rather not a landlord etc that it should not influence my decision but had to trust them today when they said the final offer was a good one. :)

I think we probably got our house because of the fact that I grew up on the same street as much as the offer we put in

I think that's why we got our house at such a good price as the lady saw ds3 wheelchair and knew all the bits she had done would be put to good use eg the front of the house is ramped:) also house not split up into flats.

Great believer in right people, right places, right time. ;)

I would love to see it extended into a lovely family home, my parents never had the money to do it. And it was only them and me so plenty of room for 3. But did get a bit cramped Christmas time with the 3 grandchildren too.

    oooh tears here. :rotfl:

I've just come back from visiting someone that I'll never see again :( he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer nearly 5 years ago, went into remission, had a recurrence 2 years ago, they told him it was terminal and gave him 3-6 months. He fought it again, only for it to come back and finally take him over :(:(

He is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet, always the life and soul and to see this nasty, evil disease destroy him is truly horrible
