Hiya:) - I'm late enough for it to appear a full Morries collection was done tonight but I've been here at home for several hours already. The previous time (early last week) I did this memory thing, I had a very good result from my shopping so let's hope I can do it again this week! (And this post is a good one:( - not. Relied on Firefox to remember my previous submission and resubmit as timed out and nearly lost the whole lot:eek::eek:.)

We recently saw some branded camembert showing on a womble against Morries (or was it Sains?) and I decided that Aldi would be cheaper on Roi de Trefle (250g) at £1.39. I left a pen and some paper in the car but, in the event, didn't bother with it. When I'm in Morries, looking at the prices on the products and hopefully remembering them, I think they are going to slip from my mind. Well, with M's Savers Camembert being £1.42 and M Camembert at £1.65 (both 250g), it's clearly going to be very easy:D.

I was a bit dubious about a small number of prices in my first replacement M tonight, so I went in a second store as I have two Ms on that route back to home. Regarding the Savers stuff (which compares from A's SP), much of that which was already on is still on - or back on - but I had my first M having 32p on the Savers Styling Gel. The second M has 15p. I reckon that first store is a bit slow in changing price labels sometimes, which isn't much helpful although there's nothing against price labels showing higher prices than are in fact the case:D. I'll need to have a look behind that price when I'm in the first store again next week.

This time I've concluded that M's price is 15p. All irrelevant anyway, as T's Eday Value ones are on 3 for 2 (which does not compare from A as there are different items with other prices in that offer) and therefore you should be getting those Eday Styling Gels in 3s in T and perhaps using them there as a filler vs Sains:):rotfl:.

(That's what a check for Avs M sometimes does - reveals it is Tvs S!:rotfl::rotfl:)

SP Tea Bags should be back on vs M as M has gone from 37p last week (Monday) to 27p today. Perhaps try Avs T though and then see what the result vs M is so others can then buy them vs M if applicable. Also, M's equiv. of SP Instant Coffee (100g) has gone back down to 47p? If so, Avs M (not T as T is 50p).

The SP Bran Flakes equiv. though has now increased in price to 92p in M. Still, just about, vs T at 88p. Also SP Crumpets may filter through at 39p for M. Vs T on those at the moment, at 37p vs 37p. I couldn't find a price incr. on the SP Pork Pies (4 pack) equivalent - APG showed them higher than £1.05 for M early last week but still vs T at £1.05. I still found them at £1.05 in M, so that may or may not work and until we know, best vs T.

Avoid SP Tomato Ketchup as usual (vs M at 40p:eek:). Also SP Macaroni tins too expensive for my liking, and SP Spaghetti tin better vs T. SP Fresh Spaghetti (500g) should be vs T or M at 20p, though I think this is a price increase of one penny at the rivals compared to a few months ago.

Anyway, away from the pennies - and sometimes I think these lists just get us to spend money on more things that we really need. Nestle Desserts (Rolo, Milkybar and possibly After 8) now £1 in M. Glad I didn't rush and BM Sains to T's 50p on its 2pk ones just before T went off offer, as Avs M now (should be) 90p for 4, after the APG. Also, I abandoned my plan to do my Sains shopping - I'd already decided not to do so on figuring that, even with £4.50 off £30 (expiring today), I would still be spending £10 more I needed simply to spend £5.50 more. Nor would the double Nectie points coupon really amount to much - as that would be just 30p extra for a £30 shop. So I'd still be spending £5.20 more. And I certainly wasn't going to BM Sains to T's 69p on the Ricola Herb Drops after finding M at 65p:rotfl:. So that would appear to be Tvs M (perhaps avoid the Elderflower one though as I couldn't find that in M). NB: Still more expensive price per unit than the Lozenges packs, which were cheaper in S.

As regards T, it seems some offers in M where M is matching T's pricing - the Princes Juices 1L are 79p in T and M, so could be £1.58 x2 vs 79p x2 for either T or M - but M appears to have fewer and doesn't expand anything for us, so stick to vs T as per previous post. Two comparable versions (comparable to T) may not show mbuy for A (are they on mbuy instore in A?).

Also Oetker Ristorante pizzas also £1.49 in M (but M doesn't have the Hawaiian version) so again stick with vs T.

Sanexes also on £1.49 & £1.09 offers in M (baths £1.49 and shower 250mls £1.09) but the baths on £1.49 in T, so stick with vs T on that, and 250ml shower gels vs Sains. if need be. 500ml shower gels vs T at £1.49. Of course, you are looking for triggers, rather than just comparing to those outright prices. 10% off £1.09 - way too dear!!

The Vimto Fizzy is off - now back to £1.68 in M:eek:. You know - we ought to buy these items when they are on offer and then try to sell them back to the stores for more than we paid, so that they could still make a profit on them. 84p one week, same bottle the next week apparently now worth £1.68. Alternatively, if I didn't like it and want it myself, I could stand outside M's with my 84p less 10% bottle from last week and see if anyone will buy it from me at £1.40 (still cheaper than what you'll find in the store folks;):rotfl:). I must admit I felt like leaving a random bit of paper though, saying "New higher price", on the shelf near to the Bran Flakes packs, but I chickened out.

But Vimto Cordial 2L £2.50 in M, so it's Tvs A, Sains vs A or Avs W:D (not for me, that price). Ragu Traditional Chunky 454g, Tomato & Basil 400g, that sort of range (not Lasagne sauces) are £1.85 in M - b1g2'f'. I'm a little frightened of that £1.85 price, but since you can get three for the same price, it's a good deal! May compare in 3s on Avs M. If you can find a fourth item to trigger A's second 2 for £2, it may be even better, and, if you can get an mbuy glitch on all the three that appear as well, with £1.98 on all three, and vs £1.85 total for M, even better still! Now surely they don't make that one easy?

Before I confuse you though:D with mixing it what's off along with what's still on, the Kipling 5 Mini Battenbergs are still 74p, the 300g bacon is still 2 for £4, the Hula Hoops 7 packs are still 87p (I think only Original 7, Classic Variety 7 and BBQ Beef 7 for some reason) and the 1kg Clover Original spread is still £1.85 in M (although I Can't Believe Original spread 1kg is now £1.50 in T and Avs T on that).

At this point, now starting my 'list proper' - and I log on to msm to see it remind me (when it goes straight to the 'Savvy buys in A') that McCain Wedges 750g may be A vs M at £1.00. And here's where the memory breaks down:( - were they McCain's Mexican Wedges or McCain's Spiced Wedges that are on £1 in M? Hopefully it will be the McCain's Spiced Wedges (also on 20% cashback) as they would then work out better at £1.84 in A. I think it was that there was one pack of Mexican Wedges left in the freezer instore but the label said McCains Spiced Wedges. M's website does not assist - it seems they are being even more protective with their prices, as it doesn't seem the offer lists are on there anymore (unless I'm mistaken) and only three or so screens per section, each with one product or a few in a range on. So, here's Savvy to the rescue:D, although sadly not enough on the Wedges.

I found the 250g (fresh) Lean Minced Beef that we saw comparing from A's Butch. Select. It seemed a good comparison, but I think that is more because A's price is so much more expensive - it was a good (and a better) contribution to a womble, but on price per unit, it may be best getting the 500g packs in 2s. Also the Old El Paso, we saw some 313g(?) ones at £2 for M, but there are also some much larger Old El Pasos also on £2 in M.

    McVities 24 Jaffa Cakes (20% cashback off A's £2.20?) are T £1.09 but M is £1.00.

The Herbal Essences (HE) 400mls are on £1.89 in M. Not HE Classic apparently, but seems to include all the usual 'flavours', e.g. the Dazzling Shine, Hello Hydration, Be Strong, Dazzling Shine 2 in 1 etc.etc.

I type some more items, in no particular order, as they come rushing from my mind!

Dentyl Clove 500ml is T £3.00 vs M £1.50. I don't need a list really, I just know them. And there was you thinking it was Tvs S's £2:rotfl::rotfl:. Cadbury's Sponge Puddings - do not go for T's bogo'f' - M £1.00, though I think Caramel might be safer for some reason this time.

I'll just type a whole load of names of products that are vs M and the M prices, as and when I feel like it in next hours, next day or till the weekend. Perhaps not too much tonight as Wednes' (APG) collection doesn't kick in till a later day. I don't think there's much chance of me forgetting the info. I saw tonight!:):rotfl::o:rotfl:

Oh, cat foods! Not a new expletive, but it was the Felix 12x100g most of which are £3 but some are £2.99 in M (but that's still £2.50/kg) that are the ones in M. However, KitEKat 12x100g are 2 for £5. (I was specifically 'tasked', whether by someone else or by myself, to look for pouches.) They may be fussy and catch you out on versions - so it's Jelly Meat & Poultry, Gravy Meaty Feast and Jelly Fish Dish in M. But Jelly Fish Dish (not the others) is A £2.49 vs T £2.49, so best on that.

The Felix versions may also be specific ones, so I'll have a look at them on Msm later and see which ones have the flavours that tie up with my imagination as to what I might have seen in M:D.

    That's it - more later.

Not surprised, after my last post:rotfl::rotfl:.
I'll think I'll start a list of items and then update it, adding more. [Oh, goodnight FC!:)]

Ran out of time, surprise surprise:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, so will have to put the list here later.

    Bye for now!
