I think pacifica is onto something with mega train. Just found a £5 return ticket from derby. The train takes almost 3 hours but sod it, it's direct.

So now I'm just gonna see if I can find a cheap ticket out there. Thanks for the help bubbs!

Thanks Bubbs and Logie I just ordered 8 jus rols and my free porridge to c&c tomorrow for £3, now to find room in the freezer :eek::eek:

Thanks for this info, but my nearest store for c&c is a bit far away and was keeping it as a first order, genuine as I normally use sada.

Apart from the porridge would this work instore with the mag voucher. I would add other items too.

Night all, time to go Zzzzzz

For the early birds, my total November 1st - 30th, spend on groceries was £21.31 :) Not as good as October, but still using things up nicely from the freezer and cupboards.

Wonder how Westvleteren will fair today as she starts her shopping challenge?!

Will continue my challenge until 20th December :) Stop whilst DS's are home from uni, then recommence next year.

Midwinter, that is impressive. Very impressive

Thank you pacifica. You are a life saver. Every little saving helps at this time of year.
