Those yankee candles might just be the solution I needed for a hard to buy for person. Is £20 a good price for 2 large ones, and if so, can anyone suggest what smells are nice please? Thanks.

I think Yankee Candles are the best by far.
When my kids (all grown up) ask what i would like for Christmas, i always tell them to buy me a yankee candle
as i think they are a bit too pricey for everyday use but really lovely to receice as a gift ifkwim, i would rather they spend money on something that i will actually like and use rather than waste money on something that i do not need nor use.
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

i dont mind the danio - i have a very submissive palate :)

what i was having trouble with was seeing how 15 yogurts at 3 for £1 (= £5) was going through at £12 so thanks for clarifying :)
    Think it is 'seeing' the original price so 12 x 85p = £12.75 :D

Here you go a 'creative' take on my now healed tat. Over exposed so my white skin (well I do live in Scotland :p) doesn't blind anyone and so its also hard to distinguish where i start and finish!:rotfl:

Re Yankee candle, my current faves are red apple wreath and lit as we type, mistletoe and fig. Veeerrry chrismassy smells.

Re santa, i am dreading my littler two 'not believing'. Last year was the bestest. They think adults cant see santa - the real one, not the pretend ones in garden centres!

Our eldest, 16 this week, dressed as santa. He went outside quite late on christmas eve and stood by the patio doors waving and putting his finger on his lips. He was there for two seconds, then ran off, DS2 went crazy. DS3 sat frozen to the sofa! We said there was no one there, santa is too busy... DH calmed them down whilst i went to investigate, turns out santas belt had come undone and sonny jim was standing behind a bush with trousers round his ankles. I told little ones i had been outside and no one was there. Obviously that was because he is invisible to adults!!
DS1 appears back at window. Ds2 goes mad again, ds3 cried his eyes out and would look, turns out he had been told if you peek at the real santa you dont get toys! Talked him round. Meanwhile getting annoyed that Ds1 was revelling in being santa and really needed to sod off! DS3 then decides he had to get DS1 to see. Gave DS1 evils through window, he legs it up the 48 steps in our back garden, up to front door and back into his room before i could let DS3 go and get him. When they all came down, santa was no where to be seen. DS1 bless him said he had seen some funny looking anilmals in our field and some jingly bells..DS2 and 3, now believe santa parked in our field to deliver the neighbourhood familes presents! And DS2's reasoning for santa having time to pop on by was that the village was flooded and most roads closed, so he was probably killing time!

It was quite magical for them. Just got to bribe DS1 again this year, and even though we have moved house, we have a big garden so the story should work again..
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
