Thanks so much guys - I think Samsung tab is same on Tesco or asda once you take their special offers into account - just thought there might be a way to get another benefit - free meal for me at Pizza Express appealed.....:p

But we are now dithering as just seen that the Kindle fire has a new app coming out in the new year that lets you limit your kids usage - can get kindle fire 16gb for £119 at Tesco :T.

Ooh decisions decision wish I was more tecky. OH originally said Samsung as can add additional memory which you can't with kindle but Samsung 8g and kindle 16gb. Anyone else got anything useful to add to this comparison?

Couldn't get the hudl but DS has heard us talking about the Hudl and has loudly announced not keen - something about the name and young pre teenage boy ......:rotfl:so maybe a blessing they are out of stock, saved by the bell.:)
