Morning all, just whizzed through last 100 pages or so as haven't been able to get on since Wednesday. Nice to see all the respects paid to Mad yesterday (lovely flowers Qoc), and hugs to rose and fc.

DH had op on Wednesday evening. Obviously he couldn't call me so I rang hospital later to check how he was and was horrified to be put through to the ICU. The nurse was really evasive, kept asking me if the doctor had spoken to me and really wouldn't say much, so I spent a very unhappy night. I rang in the morning and got another nurse who said he'd got a bit of sleep and had managed to get out of bed, so that was slightly reassuring, but I was going up the wall by the time he called me late morning. Fortunately by then he was back on a normal ward and sounded like his usual self, and sent me a pic to reassure me he was ok. He was issuing instructions to his staff at work by the end of the day (thinks I don't know, but I do ;)), so that was also very reassuring. He's been for another procedure this morning, and will need some more, so we are waiting to see how he gets on to get an idea of when he can come home. :)

He was told this morning that a couple of peeps have died of what he had in recent years, so that was why they were being so thorough. I am so grateful for all the care he has received.

that must have been so hard for you all xx glad to see its looking more positive today and hoping he can come home soon hugs to all x

Thanks for looking. I was busy with EBay yesterday so at least was making money that way. Now to get back into swing of glitching.
Was away working for a week and had some bad news. My 72 year old aunty ( who was a real friend to me in my hour of need ) died unexpectedly. She was taken ill a month ago as she suddenly could not walk and suddenly choked to death in hospital last week. My Mum ( who is 87) is the eldest of 12 and there is only her and the youngest left. Went to a school bingo last night and thought of her as she loved a game of bingo. RIP Ita.

    :A RIP aunt :A

    Hugs Rose (((X)))

As annoying as it is, at least you're ok :A Some git scraped my car in a car park last week, luckily it only needs a touch up *recites 'this is NOT the night shift'*

My mother is at that Christmas market right now, will ask her later how it was and report back :)

You are right..just so cross with myself for not seeing it. It was one of those days I wish I had stayed in bed.

It's so annoying when someone else does it to your car, last month someone reversed into my car in a car park and drove off costing £600 worth of damage, I don't understand how people do it I would feel bad !

Ooh brilliant its always nice to hear what other people think ..hope she has a nice day, I'm quite looking forward to it :)

Mine didn't scan in the 2 co-ops I used them in yesterday but both stores were happy to input the amount manually and accept them. Mr Tinyshoes used one ok too in the bigger store.
