Just back from Tesco - went for toilet rolls but none left:mad:

Picked up a couple of bits and a Finest Wiltshire Gammon - got charged £9.99 a kilo instead of half price as SEL stated. CS who checked with the Duty Manager and was offered price difference as gesture of good will. Saw the Store Manager who tried to fob me off as well and was unaware that DTD still existed. He also told me not to threaten him with HO - felt really upset as he was so lovely at the Xmas evening the other evening. Got my gammon free in the end but it certainly was not given in good grace.

Sorry to hear about Brian, I have a 17 year old mog and dd1 has his 19 year old brother.
They both have dementure and drive us mad as they forget everything, even to the extent of asking for food after they have been fed and asking to go out just after they come in the door!!!
We laugh about it as my dd1 lives next door and we have daily conversations about what they did today, the two "old men".
Mine has also had two strokes but is quite well at the mo, sometimes he drags his back legs but nothing like when it first happened......fc my son sings in some eastern European language......don't think its real but sounds very impressive.......can sing any English song like this with no practice, very amusing.

They just make you feel like carp & that it's your fault. Well done for standing your ground :T:T
