Mad's sister has texted me to say that it all went well today and the flowers were lovely. Going back to my lurking now, just wanted to let you all know. Thank you for everything you have all done you should all be proud of what has been raised and the lovely flowers bought.

Drill a 3mm hole under your lecky meter and cut hairs from a paint brush to fit and make sure the hole is in line with the wheel ( i use a bit of tape at the bottom). ( only use it for tumble dryer, or any high output BUT NOT ALL THE TIME)Gas? Turn off at the mains and unscrew both ends and turn your meter the other way ie backwards this makes the digits reverse but only after the meter man has been and for a couple of weeks at a time. ( I use a spray bottle with a little washing up liquid after tightening the meter to make sure there is no gas leaks) hth. Bloody warm in here
Funnily enough I got a letter from scottish power today. From what I can make out they have had their fingers rapped by ofgen and the result is that because I claimed the Warm home scheme last year they have to compensate me by £53.
This money will be creditied to my electrcity account.
Nice little suprise as I alway try to be on best tariff possible.
Quite day today. After listening to mads singing RIP Mad, I took dad to meet mum and step dad for lunch. On way home I mucked up a chocs glitch with the now redundant lob brown ribbon box.
By time we got home there were no loo roll mocs left but I did win a jar on Friday coop on. Thanks to latest glitch finder. Still have many boxes of lizzie shaw from mocs couple of months ago. Don't drink coke anymore but tempted to get for kids but a bit confusing results coming in.
Black friday our As had loads of cosy coupe cars left but I resisted. Not been tempted by anything else not even sanctury/boots earlier.
Mojo due to return by middle of next week:j

I had a hospital appointment this morning but dashed to Colchester, didn't make it on time so just hung back for a while to say a prayer.
I can't understand how I didn't know until last night that Mad was in Colchester. Only 28 miles or so away. I feel carp now, so near yet so far. I would have loved to have met him.
I lived 5 mins down the road from him, but never met him either, although we came close a few times when we discovered that we had been in the same stores at the same time:D usually a cashier would say "I've just had the same vouchers from another chap or why is everyone buying so much (insert glitch) today?) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I got to the crematorium about 12:30 & went to find the book of remembrance & saw the beautiful flowers. Just wanted to say a few words & pay my respects.
I hope Mads family were aware of his penchant for glitches and bargains otherwise clearing his flat might have been a bit of a shock
.
Keep sending us glitches Mad, I'll keep our local stores on their toes0 -
