I don't see what makes the Black Friday offers so good at As.....

That's good is it? Seriously is that not just normal prices?

  • Well, that was quite a day.

An order from Achica turned up, a nice new frying pan and a zinc pot.

Then we went out to a shop opening for champagne and canap!s.

Came home, sat down for 10 mins, then went out to Tesco evening.

I very much doubt if I could move now if I wanted to :D

I only know a bit about your story, still reasonably new here , but its lovely that you had a celebratory lunch I am sure your Mum was there is in spirit.

Thanks mrsmac. I was not sure whether to go or not but thought would check what curry was on and it was my favourite lamb balti. ;)

My mum used to have the lamb hot pot with mint sauce. It's one of those places that use decent meat and you get loads. We often used to have the all day breakfast. She used to say I am never going to eat all that but often she did. Liked her food right until the end. :A

I guess I miss taking her there and it was one of the last places I managed to take her too, they were always lovely and helped with trays while I pushed her wheelchair. They could never help enough. Not many places like that now.
