I prefer cheese that is out of date, nothing wrong with it and ages nicely :D

Unfortunately DH prefers his cheese as mild as possible
I like mine to take the surface off the roof of my mouth :D so I might have to use this block :D

I don't mind either QoC - they're both very worthy causes so if peeps want the hospital to benefit I'll find out which one it is.

    I'm easy, whichever way :)

If I may ask what did you get in your goodie bag? :A

Not a lot in the bag that they handed to me - one pack of mince pies , a miniature bottle of chocolate Baileys and a load of junk mail ! However, I had a little bit more in there by the time I left. I must remember to the ceramic plate back next time I am in he store !

To be honest, the evening wasn't a patch on previous ones. A totally different format with far too many people turning up at 6pm, nowhere to take coats off and much too crowded at the start. Food was heavily slanted towards cheese - very nice bt more variety would have been good. The only other savoury ws sliced ham. Cakes and stollen etc were good but, overall, not nearly as good as I was expecting. Can't look a freebie n the mouth but I did far prefer the previous evenings.

I did think that the goodie bag was VERY parsimonious !

Back from Tesco Christmas tasting evening.
Goodie bag contents were a box of Finest mince pies, small chocolate Baileys (lush), Revitalift sample and a little bar of Chokablok.

I was in two minds whether to go as DH got called into a work meeting in London late this afternoon so no chance of getting back in time. Took a chance on ending up like Billy no mates but bumped into neosi there so spent ages chatting to him. It was also nice to be able to thank him in person for all the hard work he put in on the calendar. Can also confirm that the mystery leg on the last page is not his

    Good evening all

Thanks to bubbs for the suggestion about the meat in sada. I would never have considered using it for anything but a roast and always get the silverside. Always lovely from the slow cooker. Bought a top rump as well and will try it as stew. Needed to use up some apgs.

They also took my birds eye voucher without a problem.:T
