Morning everyone,

Just wanted to say that I have been lurking for a few months and trying to join in where I can (and get my head round all the glitches!). I have witnessed some nasty squabbles and watched people worry that the thread will be closed down....and now I see why they were so worried. What an amazing group of glitchers you really are!!! Over 1000 pounds in a few hours in memory of your lovely friend madmuppet. And then a virtual pub from 9pm! :beer:

A great place to be! Thanks for the tips over the past couple of months - you have saved my family a fortune. And mostly, sleep well mad :A

I have decided to delurk and raise my head above the parapet in the hope I don't get shot. :eek::eek:

Yesterday made me realise just how stupid the silly bickering is and that life really is too short for all that rubbish.

Seeing everyone united in wanting to pay their respects to Mad, puts it all into perspective.......we should all live and let live and if we can't say something nice, keep it zipped!!

The arguments and stuff that has gone on is unbelievable, especially considering you could walk past these people in the street and not even realise who they are!!

And whilst I was never his biggest fan, I think it was extremely kind and big hearted of h**lans to make such a generous donation given the battering he has taken on here :T :T

So, hope to stick around a bit more in future if that's okay

I've been away from the thread for a long time, but it is amazing to see all of the 'original' elite back and posting - long may it continue!

I think mad would be proud to see how everyone has come together

I'm hoping that we can all enjoy the potential 25% off wine tomorrow and raise a few more glasses to him.

I didn't post last night but just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about Mad. I didn't really know him but have seen him post before and it is so so sad. Mad obviously touched a lot of people and it is great to see everyone pulling together and batting for the same team on here again.
