I don't wish to be indelicate, but on the subject of onesies , do you not freeze when it's time to perform certain bodily functions?
    Hope is not a strategy.

Wonder why it's not working for me then :(

    Morning all.

Was supposed to be shown around at my local foodbank today, ahead of a bit of volunteering. The woman who I was meeting was called to an emergency meeting so.....spinning my wheels today. Bit fed up as she could have let me know she wasn't going to be there. As it is I had a couple of boxes to give to the foodbank so it wasn't a wasted trip :)

My Mum decided to tell me not to focus too much on this stuff and I shouldn't bother trying to rearrange. Then said a real job would be better wouldn't it? It's fair to say I'm fuming. Would it be better? Lord knows the thought hadn't occurred to me every waking moment for the past two months! I'm actually really angry and upset. I'm doing this stuff to keep myself occupied and help people at the same time. Of course I want a real paying gig but I can't magic one up! Honestly just makes me want to curl up and not bother.
I think what you're doing is fantastic. It's much better to be occupied & you'll be dealing with so many grateful people it should help to lift your spirits.
Volunteering is also a really good thing to have on your cv., or it was in my working life. Another positive is that sometimes 'doors open' quite unexpectedly from the least expected quarters.
Good luck & I hope you really enjoy it.
