Afternoon all. May you shop and glitch with joy all through the day!
Just impressed myself with my efficiency. Went to dentist 12 noon to find appts for today all cancelled due to some work being carried out. (Must say I was secretly pleased!) So...went to council office, registered for housing, then to Post Office and did my postings out, then to library and returned books and selected new ones and learned to use selfserve borrowers checkout, then to Lxdl and got myself a tub of Quality St for £4, a bunch of flowers, some biscuits, high quality sausages, jacket potatoes, broccoli and cauli, a six pack of crisps and some beef for sandwiches, and had change from £13. Home by 1.15. Time to relax now!“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Plus no kids, no car, living miles from anywhere also helps - can't just pop to the shops, i'm to tight to fork out the bus fare to go into town, don't have kids saying I want I want.
I'm a simple person with simple needsNo smart !!!! comments please!
i agree living in a similar position, very rural, dont drive do have kids but they have taxi for school and bus for college so dont do school runs and buses are really expensive also to tight to pay so nsd are quite common here,0 -

Oops, didn't think of that
I may have to rethink what I classify as a NSD then
Maybe I could have no shopping days insteadHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Yeah, much rather travel to some obscure places in the back of beyond with the risk of Rabies, Yellow fever, Malaria, dodgy drinking water and staying in dodgy accommodation - worst place I ever spent the night was on the border between Argentina and Bolivia, resembled something out the Flintstones  than travel to the local town
Any suggestions for my next adventure?Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
