I just went to Tesco to try to exchange the £50 clothes I bought. I picked the same item but in a different size and said it was too small, I got a pair of gloves to take it over the amount.

I did present the original receipt.

The man just did them in separate transactions and gave me the receipt back!

I'm getting sick if this

Would it be better to lose the receipt?

Thanks for this info - turns out there is one near me on Wednesday night with places available :j

I have signed up for it but I see that you have to present your invite on arrival  do they specifically ask you for it or will your confirmation email be enough???? Obviously, I don't have an actual invite :o In the form where it asks you to fill in how you heard about the event I just ticked "other" and said "Recommended by a friend" - thought it best to be honest, but I don't want to go all the way there to then get turned away!! :rotfl: I missed out on the Finest tasting evenings too so this would be lovely - are the Christmas ones any good (more importantly, do you get any goodies??? :rotfl: :D)
