    Good morning everyone

Great start to the day! £10 for £5 amazon voucher and £20 for £10 The Hut spend :)

Those who posed for the calendar can go to work today and tell everyone when they're asked what they were doing at the weekend "a photoshoot for a calendar" :D

I am really upset and feel like I can't do right for doing wrong.
I think the dog is vicious, it terrified me when it tried to attack me and I have seen it get loose several times and go for people.
So in my heart I think the dog needs reporting and should be put down.
Do I go against my friend and report it myself or just let the daughter take it, she doesn't have children, but that could just be moving the problem somewhere else and she spends a lot of time at her Mum's, so the dog would be too and fro.

However I can't face the idea of creating bad feeling where I live, which is a very small close only used by the residents and their visitors.
I already feel very different, by being on my own and having to take medical retirement, when everyone else are families and working.
I don't want to feel I can't show my face which is something I have been trying to overcome due to PTSD and severe depression lasting many years.

I know it's difficult for you and the last thing you need is bad feeling with the neighbours but you will feel much worse if/when the dog actually hurts someone badly. It sounds very disturbed and sooner or later it's going to flip again. It's had plenty of chances. I would guess that other people in your street must be well aware of its danger - could you perhaps have a quiet word with some of them and maybe do something together - then you wouldn't be on your own reporting it. It's a dangerous situation just waiting to escalate.

Thank you wool. Guess what? I rang him today... hence I am a tad late coming back online after eating my main fast day meal...was....yummy, delicious, I ate this ... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=196368140524715&set=a.184144615080401.1073741824.100004545907176&type=1&theater

Anyway, back to my update... There was a lovely neighbour who used to say to my parents ' what you plan to do tomorrow, do it today, what you plan to do later...do it now' Took that advice. Called my lovely uncle about 20mins after I said see ya's later to you all on here earlier.... I started talking, then as I was nervours, I talked some more, I didn't need to say who I was, he recognised my voice even after all this time. He was in tears, we plan to meet up next month. He is now late 60's, poorly and about to have an op in january...hopefully I can help him in some way, look after him and make sure we is well cared for after the op :)

I did not like how we slated my parents...immediately, for keeping me, his 'precious princess' away from him. I tried to explain, we need not speak of them, I am a adult now, we can have our own loving niece /uncle relationship... he continued slating them...might have to put a stop to that and fast, as I'm not liking it. I do sort of understand, I'm his favourite and I Love him to bits. He hates the people - be it my own parents kept me away from him. So I sort of understand but do not like to hear anyone speaking ill of my lovely parents.

wool, I dare not suggest anything, after what your dad did, I struggle to think anymore.

Forgiveness is not something I would give to a parent of mine, if they continued being friends with anyone who physically assaulted me, can't imagine any parent who would want to do this!! ? Kinda confused.

Basically, I'd do whatever makes you happy, you have been through enough. I'm sure you would make decisions which are best for you and your child.

MadMuppet5...:Aif you can read this from heaven...somewhere, wherever you are. You leaving us, has given me the strength to meet a dear relative again. He's so happy and it's all because of you...you are doing good even when you are not amongst us. Lossa Elite Love to you x x will keep your candle burning :)

Thank you all, for cheering me up, I was in pieces...reading about Mad, 3 days ago, could not bring myself to join in and chat, just lit candle and watched...gave me peace....death and all that. Gotta learn how to deal with it....me needs to grow up.

thank you all again, see you on here again soon x x

p.s. 5;2'ers, stay strong, as I'm not feeling so :( Colonel FF will be back and ready to whip'yas ;):p:rotfl:

I am so please you took the bull by the horns and made the call. From your uncles point of view, i guess he does blame your parnets, but he has got to remember you are still their daughter and dont want to hear bad things. You made you call to reignite your relationship, not to put a dampner on it.

I think honestly, part of my dads gameplan was that my ex 'chose' him over my mum (they are divorced), and he used it as a tool for one upmanship. The reason he was chosen was because he has no backbone and would easily be led. Which he was to his shame.

Might just need a little chat with your uncle to put things to bed and move on. So pleased for you x
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
