You're not alone.....my OH looked at me like like like I was bonkers when I told him about the calendar.
.......I don't mind if he doesn't get it, I can't see the excitement over winning an angling addicts hat in a raffle yesterday

You are right Mr TS was full of excitement when I got home over getting from freecycle 30 bags of top soil free and it being delivered for nothing for his tyre wall and raised bed.
Don't think I want to look in the garden when it is light in the morning. It's not going to float my boat. :rotfl:0 -

You are obviously aware that you need to cancel before the month is up etc, but lots of people have been complaining that they didn't know this (rolls eyes) and about how hard it is to cancel a credit card mandate (as opposed to a direct debit) with the company. (and you'll be attempting to cancel in the run up to Christmas when it will be busy all round)
Here's a couple of links you may find useful. In the second one Martin says what to do if you cancel online but they still take your money.

Hi Mrs B  Thanks for that infoI think I'll cancel my bank card along with the membership a couple of days before payment is due. I didn't realise I didn't need to spend £15 at Argos to get the cashback so will be looking for something cheaper. I should have all my online purchase made by then so wouldn't really need the bank card over the Christmas period.
T's at the K!ngsway had loads of the living food magazines btw and they had the 3V cards so I used two of the coupons from the mags with two £25 cards and got 350CC points with them - and I just discovered they do the raincheck vouchers so I've got one (wasn't very MSE as I should have asked for a few more) for the diet coke 24pks @ £5 when they next come in.
