I was once lucky enough to have a tour round the Bettys bakery and met the lady who makes all their fat rascals, and every one made by hand. In fact, apart from a couple of big mixing bowls, everything for Bettys is made by hand.
I also saw how much alcohol they put in their Christmas cakes - they must be about 40 proof:)
Haven t got any Betty's round here I don t think0 -

Incase anyone missed it the other day i posted that collect+ is giving £1 cashback per parcel on tcb and quidco
I've been using MyHermes with no problems. I just checked collect+, but it is more expensive even after the £1 cashback, so think I'll be sticking to MyHermes.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
Morning all
Lutzi - what a nightmare situation for you. Hope your OH is ok
Nannylala - similar situation re heating happened to me a couple of weeks ago (only a breakdown not a leak) and I used a heatpack (the kind you heat in a microwave) whilst sitting which was very helpful.
Hope its not too long until ch is fixed - thankfully weather is not too bad atm.:)
WIRIS - hope your OH is ok now. Must have been sooo worrying:(0 -

We need a very early test done with the three diff types of coke counting as 3 etc. No shops here til 1pm.
Would have to buy six to test agin Tesco- the 6 would cost £6 at sada with a potential comparing at £11.88 vs £9.00 with £3.78 back on apg. Cost of 6 cokes would be £2.22 ie 37p each.£1.98 any 2 FOR £3.00 Valid until: 26/11
£1.98

Apologies if everyone knows this but T finest Pinot Grigio is comparing to w £7.99 to £6.99 on a shop from yesterday at 16:01. Not as good as the 2 for 10 but useful if you have friends who won't drink anything else! Have just read the price promise and it compares even better to Mr A at £5!!0
