    Morning :)

Nearing the end of week one of the living out of cupboards - so far 5 NSD and I expect today will make that 6. Total cash spend 23p :) NSD days are easy as I rarely go out - only go to the supermarkets once or twice a week :D

On average how often do you lot cross the threshold of any supermarkets in a given week? Think some of the answers might be :rotfl:

Made a batch of soup the other day for freezing and today will probably be making peanut butter.

    Morning westie:j

Well done on your NSD's......I think part of it is like dieting......it's just getting in the zone.

I'm making my Christmas cake today. I'm late ....should be making my puddings

    Today is stir up Sunday:)

Stir-up Sunday is an informal term in Anglican churches for the last Sunday before the season of Advent.[1] It is one of the essential British Christmas traditions and is said to have been introduced to the Victorians by Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria.[2]

OK I've done my shop and only managed the desserts in Sains as they didn't carry any of the hair stuff & we don't drink.

However for those of you that do I've added a few items.

I spent £23.08 - £20 double up Nectar + a £3 off £20 shop. Had to rush to get a moam bar to go with my whoopsies otherwise would have been less than £23. I spent 8p in hard cash:j
OK I bought 4 Ben & Jerry + 1 magnum =£21 to use the £20 voucher. Got some excellent whoopsies too and had a BM for £9.04 back. Therefore my £10 of Nectar points predoubling turned into a shop that cost me pence for actually about £30 of shopping.
The hair deals could work out even better IF your shop has them!

How to turn your worthless (almost) Nectar points into BM - losing little & buying yourself some treats - for almost free!
I've got a shed load (£130 quid!) of Nectar points & am really disappointed that I can only spend £20 doubled up in 4 categories. Don't drink so that leaves me 3 categories.
Just got to thinking about brand match & wondered if it's possible to get your spend back? It virtually is!

Cost £21 less £20 nectar double up and got £9.04 BM plus 126 tripled Nectar points :j:j I didn't have a CS unfortunately but well happy with this. My kids love Karamel Sutra but rarely get it and it never lasts very long in this house.

    Happy Sunday Everyone :)

1 x ASDA Baby New Potatoes with Herbs & Butter (360g)£1.00N/A
    2 x Soft & Gentle Sensitive Antiperspirant Deodorant (...£3.80N/a
    2 x Soft & Gentle Body Responsive Antiperspirant Deodo...£3.00N/A

    ChelseaFred

This happened to me yesterday too! :( The Bom Pots were destined for the food bank collection at school and the S and G are always useful in a house with 3 teenagers!! Ho hum......great while it lasted :(

Also got meal deals and wine in Mr T yesterday. Saw a friend and was able to share the wine glitch. She sent her DH back to get 2 more bottles of wine! Also suggested splitting their shopping into £40 lots. They were really pleased with their savings and till spits! 'Sharing is caring' as my students say. :)
