Can you not sell at all? A little trick if you can is to offer free postage on a few things (try to include at least some of the cost in your start price). You can't then be marked down on your DSR's.

The way fleabay is going there won't be many small sellers left

Have you tried local facebook selling sites or Gumtree? I know several people who do ok.
