Hello,... at last something for me to post. A very small detail as usual though:(.

    This compares best vs Morries:

    1 x ASDA 5cm x 4.5m Crepe Bandage£0.80£0.84
S & T both 85p. I lost another penny there; my lack of Morries prices is really causing me to lose money and, in its own way, causing an economic distortion (or it is at least as far as I am concerned).

Far too many fillers being used on my shopping for my own liking, only for all of the items I bought to show up (the 10 different items looks a long list to me and spending too much money), for the pound back I will stick to just 8 different items in future, as I feel I'm losing more by putting substantive N/A items onto the shopping that could either have been avoided getting in the first place (and thus not spending any money on them) or using more usefully elsewhere.

Just a couple of tins - but, hey, 40p onto a shop, do that three times and it's a further £1.20 spent, when the £1 voucher I got (quite correct as I did a very low spend shop) could have been risked by not getting the extra two items and saving more even if the odd voucher or two got lost (which would not have happened on this occasion, as all 10:eek: showed) - I know I'm going my own way here, and would entirely agree to get the odd item or two more as it's not worth losing APG for the sake of a couple of fillers, if I were getting lower value fillers and if the APG expected was more substantive risking than the low value spend and low APG from the last shop.

  • Good evening everybody, I hope you are well and have had a good day. I had a great day seeing my parents and sis auto.armadillo. We did a good swap. I gave my sis some 20p stuff that I got from mr s. I also gave her a spa set from mr a.

In return I got an iPad and 6 bottles of wine. I think I got the better end of the deal.:)

The spa set is very nice though lol:beer:
We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

DH owns a hundred SW books (geek!!) And he took me to see episode 1 at the cinema when it first came out (lovely idea for a date, not!!) and then got upset when I fell asleep during it :rotfl:

No I knitted a Manu scarf and bobble hat which doubled up as an Oldham rugby league scarf and bobble hat they play in same colours. My dad used to lift me over wall at rugby to save paying. The ground was only 5 mins away from where we lived :D

Money saving started early in your house.
