Please could someone talk me through gift card thingy. :o

I think I will be buying the £95 parka from Top Shop for DD3.

She does have her NUS card for student discount but if I can get it cheaper using gift cards too I will be. :j

I have seen 20% off mentioned and points, but I don't usually dip my toes into buying gift cards. So I do not have a clue the best way to go about it. Really appreciate any help and if someone can do the sums for me I will be. :D

You could buy 4x£25. Pay £80.

Get 150 pts for spending over £50

Use 4 coupons from mag for an extra 4x100 points

Chuck in any conditiknal spends you might have for good measure

YOU 'd have £5 left on the cards plus any NUS savjngs. If you dont want that just get 3 cards and use 3 coupons

Apologies if already posted as I'm just in and not caught up yet. Mucked up my APG a little today by buying random popcorn without checking first. Useful for a TvA or SvA shop:

    1 x Butterkist Microwave Popcorn - Sweet (3x90g) £1.50 £1.99 T&M £2.15 S
    1 x Butterkist Microwave Popcorn - Salted (3x90g) £1.50 £1.99 T&M £2.15 S

    Right then.

There was NEVER any doubt in my mind that the money that has so kindly and generously been donated would go on anything but flowers first and foremost. That was always going to be the case, as was donating anything left over to the hospice.

That absolutely will not change. At all.

Having read through, it would seem to me that "ELITE" is the way to go. While I like "MAD", I think that some people might find that in bad taste at a funeral.

Someone earlier suggested that "MSE" might come across as advertising, and I kinda agree.

Someone else also said that while we are here to save money, there are tines when it's not right to, and my personal feeling is that I agree with that too.

So unless anyone has any huge objection, I think we should still go for "ELITE", as was the plan right at the beginning. There'll be a card with the flowers which we can use to explain ourselves :D

I didn't do this for "thanks", pats on the back or to make me feel good about myself. I did this because it's the right thing to do. And all I'm doing really is collecting the money. You lot are doing the rest :T

Through Thrifty's JG page and the collection, there has been over £1500 raised in Mad's memory. I'm pretty sure that he will be bouncing up and down on the clouds with glee. And we've achieved that in just a few days

You should all be giving yourselves a big pat on the back :T well done everyone :T :T :T

    Now, where's that vodka???

    Good decision....thank you :)
