Yes, I have been told that in T's. Also, the exchange can only be from the same department ie you can't swap for food). In S's (and possibly A's too), they won't even give an exchange without a receipt.

I have returned clothing to all 3 without receipts.

T - can only exchange within clothing department

A - they have mostly just given me the current cash value on a gift card. But that's my local. Others have only let me exchange.

S - exchange within clothing


I end up doing this a lot as my parents and inlaws firstly have no idea what size my girls are and secondly they have hideous taste in clothes
