Bellway possibly delaying house

Hi everyone.
The regional sales manager from Bellway rang me this afternoon, I couldn't talk to him for long as was at work. He is going to ring back tomorrow, but asked 'how would we feel' about a January completion (instead of 13th December) He will ring back to discuss tomorrow.
Our mortgage offer expires in early January - we are going with Halifax and are getting the stamp duty paid by them, which was a deal a while back....so if we get need to get a new mortgage offer, will I end up having to pay the stamp duty myself?

Sounds like they are delayed.......? In all honesty, complain a lot, you should not be out of pocket as a result.0
