Speadsheet desperately needed

Hello everyone
I have been on this site for years and it has helped me so much money wise but I have had a few problems recently which has nearly resulted in financial meltdown so close to the end. What I really need is a spreadsheet where I can easily keep track of everything and really get my finances in shape.
So I would be grateful if anyone can point me in the direction of a spreadsheet which is suitable for someone not to good with the technological side of life.
Thanks in advance.

I have a simple spreadsheet which is basically a computerised spending diary. Every day I update it and it tells me how much I have spent that month and how much I have left. Nothing fancy. I have 3 columns - date, what ie tesco, bus fare etc) and amount. At the bottom I have a total and then underneath that I have (budget - total) which tells me how much I have left for the month.
I have also set up a savings account online and have set up a direct debit to it each month. When I get a bill that needs paying I just do a faster payment to my current account and can pay it from there. I probably also could just pay the bill straight from my savings account to be honest though

I just have a list of money in and money out on a pad. example:
income: 1200
rent:575
petrol 150
... etc
then when it is spent/out of the account I just write paid next to it. petrol i just change the amount available to say what's left

On excel there are spreadsheets for household budgets already in place. You can take it and personalise it. Or have a look at the money advice centre because I think there is one there. Alternatively, just google, Los there xxxx0

Thanks for the replies.
I currently use a notepad but have lost a number of them
Will look into the options and try not to cry. I don't get along with difficult computer things.:eek:1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Can't help with a spreadsheet, but I'm so sorry to read you are struggling when you are so close to killing your debt. I do hope you can see your way through to sorting where your hiccups are. Might be easier to do your sums/spends on paper, perhaps? Am thinking of you.0

Hello there.
As far as dealing with debts is concerned, this spreadsheet is in an industry standard format - it's quite detailed:

You can fill in an automatic version via our website: www.nationaldebtline.co.uk
Hope you find it useful!

I use clearcheckbook.com. It's really easy to use, and you can use it on your phone/tablet as well.

I use YNAB (https://www.youneedabudget.com) and it has helped me keep track of what I am spending money on and actually start to save some money for a change lol.
It has a 34day trial so give it a go and see if it will help you. There is a ton of free support including videos and the forum has some very helpful people on there. It is a slighly different way to budget than what most people are used to and took me a little while to get to grips with it but its now a doddle to use and I love it.0 -
