  • Long day today at work, very sleepy! Loving the light morning, perfect for dog walking but definitely contributing to sleepiness as woke up super early today!

    Money Matters:
Almost an NSD! Spent 80p on crisps, very annoyed with myself!
Budget for next month not worked out yet. Have done 12 hours at work today so no time for anything else!

    Wedding Planning:
Nothing today! Need to start looking at venues and budgets this week.

    House Update:
Waiting on the estate agents to confirm our acceptance of the offer...it's been three days now, should I be worried?

    Goals:
Well I already spent money on food so that didn't go well! So I will go for 6 days out of 7! It was only 80p so not terrible......right?
  • Not in work this morning so have been trying to get a few things done, fairly unsuccessfully.

    Money Matters:
Spent £1 yesterday so still not managed an NSD this week!
Overpaid £100 on the mortgage today as OH won an accumulator bet and put it in the account - getting him on board :)
Also had my new credit card come through - 0% for 17 months - for car insurance initially - I refuse to pay 25% interest to pay it monthly!

    Wedding Planning:
Quick chat with mum about numbers, but otherwise nothing really to report here!

    House Update:
Spent the morning filling in the mountains of forms from the solicitor, which has resulted in my to do list being even longer as there are certificates and stuff we need to dig out.

    Goals:
March goal going reasonably well - added another few quid into my tidying account so now have £248.10 out of the £267 I need to clear my debt to my parents!
No extra food buying goal going very badly.....crisps Monday, chocolate Tuesday....I am hanging my head in shame!

  • Hi Muser1, thanks for reading :)

We have a viewing on Saturday but it is definitely top end of our budget so will see how it goes!
  • Day off today, have a long to do list but haven't yet made it out of bed :o

    Money Matters:
No NSDs so far this week, must try harder! Won't have one today as I need to buy some Vanish.
Had our annual mortgage statement so am going to do some year 1 and year 2 stats - we only started OP'ing year 2 so should be interesting.

    House Update:
Need to finish off the solicitors forms. Got a viewing on Sat, house is top end of our budget really but looks really nice. Would also save a fortune on commuting! :T

    Goals:
I have bought food 3/4 days this week  and had to have a real willpower moment to not make it 4/4 yesterday! This is a major issue for me as it is where most of my unnecessary spends go. Since changing to an irregular work pattern it's been terrible.

Well I haven't been on here for a month! We have found our 'forever house', offer was accepted a couple of weeks ago, survey being done next week so all going smoothly so far! Selling also going smoothly, am going to pop into the estate agents today and see where we are with that!

I definitely need to start sorting the house and throwing out and ebaying stuff! Planning on cooking something nice for tea tonight as haven't seen OH for a couple of days. So heading into town to get a few things done :)
  • Money Matters:
Well not much build up of savings happening right now, everything needs paying for at once! Getting car fixed - £350, also had to buy an outfit for a ball and need to pay for my ticket. Plus car tax and MOT due this month!

    Wedding Planning:
    Nothing!

    House Update:
Having to pay for an electrical certificate to get our kitchen electrics certificated for the sale. The report on the house we were buying threw up a couple of issues we need to sort before exchanging contracts so that's slowing us down. Everyone we need to get stuff done is away as well - solicitor, mortgage advisor etc! Very annoying.

    Goals:
Hmmm no goals set, I'm on a health kick as have put on 4-5lb and want to shift it. Currently weigh 67.3 kg so will keep track of that on here :p
  • Money Matters:
Saving going well - have pots for Christmas, Holiday, Car and Savings all building up nicely. However am starting my MSc in September which will cost me a fair bit so might have to rejig these around a bit to cover the first years tuition.

    Wedding Planning:
    Venue found but not booked!

    House Update:
Completed our sale last week. Currently living with in-laws. Hoping to complete purchase in next two weeks as all rolling now. Wish me luck!

    Goals:
The weight shifting not going great - haven't weighed myself as my scales are in storage but am on a week off this week and at my mums who has a cross trainer so will get on that today and aim for a run tomorrow :)
