Make Your Own Christmas Crackers

Thought I would share this short, simple video I found on Youtube showing you how to make your own Christmas crackers! Makes the Christmas Day crackers a bit more personal (I put names on mine), less tacky (pick your own gifts to go in them) and cheaper - the only item I have to buy, apart from the gifts, are the snaps, which are about £1.60 for 10 on ebay :cool:

I love the personal crackers but i cheat a bit in that i buy the make your own crackers £3 in wilkos at the moment. Will make nice labels on printer and add lovely non plastic items .

A few years ago i did the same but made a few quid on ebay sellng them as personalised crackers. I had a couple of sets of mini perfumes and aftershaves i had bought reduced in lloyds chemist (they tend to do cheapest sets) .

If you on a budget go round the perfume, aftershave sites and see if there are any decent samples available.

The crackers are in the pound shop , 6 in a pack. snaps, jokes , hats and crackers

The snaps are in hobbycraft 80 p and 3 for 2 in store
They even got a diy project

I put money in mine and gift vouchers. And I make some silly ones. Like to make a few for all the meals at xmas

I have made my own for years...I was fed up of throwing everything from inside shop bought ones away when clearing the table every year because they are full of utter useless rubbish...So Like I say I make my own..I always put a lottery scratch card in them and a little gift along with snaps, hat & joke....Struggling this year as small gifts to put in them though for the first time ever but I am sure something will pop up x

I'm going to make my own this year, I'm going to buy some from the 99p shop & use the snap & hat from that as it's the cheapest way of doing it I think, then I'm making little gifts to go inside, I can't wait
