Nectar - cash off spend vouchers

I used to regularly get sent a series of vouchers from Sainsburys for, for example, £8 off a £40 shop. Each voucher valid for a specific week and usually 6 or 8 weeks worth of vouchers.

I haven't seen these for a good 3 years though my Mum still gets them regularly.

She also gets till spits for similar offers, the best I ever get is £15 off a £60 for first time online spend (we have already spent on line with them) or 200 bonus points (worth pennies really).

What do I have to do to get the decent offers again?

I'm now not a regular Sainsburys shopper, spending maybe £50 there a month, but I would spend more if they enticed me to! :rotfl:

    Hello

Maybe pop in there more often buying only bits and pieces?
I get lots of vouchers. Today I bought some fizzy drink (£1)
Got given double pts and also triple pts wys £20.

Last week I got £2 off wys £20, 600 pts wys £10 on clothing and 80 pts wys £2 on cereal. All very easy to achieve :)

So my advice would be to pop in there and get swiping your card to see what it spits out of the coupon machine. Also download the nectar app on a smartphone if you have one. Got offers on there which might help you :)
  • The more often you shop, the less vouchers you seem to get through the post. We shop in Sainsburys every week, then were away for 3 weeks. On our return had £10 off of £50 spend vouchers and double nectar point till spits for 3 weeks running.
Always get extra Nectar point vouchers at till and also via the Nectar App.
MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:
  • Plenty available on ebay. Ok, they are not free, but they still save some money.
  • What, if any, are the disadvantages of signing up to the Nectar Adpoints?

We have had a nectar card for years and just buy bits and bobs with it (rather than a full shop) and we have never had any vouchers sent through the post and only occaisionally get a £2.50 off our shopping lol.

I only go to Sainsburys for a few bits and pieces, often the £3 lunch, and sometimes I get double points vouchers at the self serve till, and other related bonus vouchers for frequently bought items (80 bonus points for a fruit salad pot).

Think you'd have to spend there regularly to get the "better" vouchers. My dad is a regular Sainsburys shopper, and got a £7.50 voucher just before Christmas with no minimum spend (I didn't).

I'm a Tesco shopper, and I believe they only send you bonus coupons through the post if accumulate at least 150 Clubcard points per quarter (i.e. normally £150).

Ok another question on these vouchers:

I seem to be accumulating a small selection of these usually £2 off your next (minimum) £15 shop -I live pretty much next door so constantly pop in for bits and pieces

Question, if I have more than one of these can you use multiple vouchers on one shop?

If I spent £15 could I use three of these to get the cost down to £9? Or will the only scan whilst the 'running total' is above £15 so say I could spend £21 pounds and use a few to get it down to just below £15 but that's it

I've scanned thru the small print and can't find any no duplicate clauses -plus. They all tend to be slightly different I think I currently have a £1.50 £2.25 and £2.75 off my next £15 shop vouchers all in date.... Anyone tried combining them?
