My daughter came back from the Co-op excited that she'd found a great MSE offer (she's only 14!)

They are currently selling Mccoys crisps at £2.09 for 6 but buy 2packets (12) for £2.00. So essentially get one buy one free and get 9p too. They are also giving 10% vouchers with all spends for future shops making them in effect, 90p for six packets of crisps.

Walkers crisps are also selling for £3.00 for 16 - this offer has been on a while though so may well end today as I think their offers normally get changed on a Tuesday.

As they are saying, Co-op offers are not to be sniffed at.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ok if you have a coop nearby but the same price at Tesco until the 26 Nov.

Anyone who would pay £2.06 for a multipack of just 6 packs of crisps would be mad, so £1 is more like a realistic price.

You should boycott such multi-buys instead of promoting them. Many shops sell a single six pack for £1. Buy two packs from one of those rather than supporting the Co-operative (sic). (If they are a co-operative organisation why are they indulging in such a practice?)

I snorted when I read that.
  • Just to add that I believe the 10% vouchers are for spends over £5.

But you still receive 20% off spends of £5 if you spend only a penny.
