    Hi,

I bought and paid for this last night £48.77 + postage) but had an email this morning cancelling my order and refunding my card.

I'm not impressed to say the least. I've sent an email asking for an explanation, but so far have had no response.

Do they have to sell at this price ? I was under the impression that I made an offer, and they accepted by taking money on my card. Is this wrong ?

I bought it at £39.71 and have heard nothing so far.
Did you use Google checkout or go through Ebuyer themselves?

    £67.94 atm.

I used Google Checkout to pay for it. Have heard nothing from eBuyer, but I suppose that's to be expected. There was no reason given for the cancellation.

Just a quick question. In what capacity does Google Checkout act ?
i.e. What happens to the money ? Are they an agent ?

What is the legal status and when does the contract take place, ie when do they (eBuyer) legally accept my offer of payment when paid by Google Checkout.

    Thanks

eBuyer are OBLIGED to cancel your order to satisfy Microsoft's OEM software licence unless you buy a major PC component in the same order.

That's why it says in big red letters:

    "SYSTEM BUILDERS ONLY"
