Hi Everyone
I know we're all trying to save money at Christmas. Just wanted to post a reminder that Amazon really isn't always the cheapest. I'm amazed at how many people go there automatically without trying other sites.
I've been using other sites for over a year now and have saved loads of money. Todays example, I've just bought a present for an elderly Aunt (who's really into classical music) a CD (Grainger: "Piano Transcriptions") from Sainsbury's website - price £3.99 + free delivery. Amazon price = £6.54 + free delivery).
Lately, I've been buying books and music from the Tesco website too - great cos I can use my Clubcard vouchers to pay for them (though not of course during the Tesco Clubcard Boost !)
Cheers

I wish that the shopping comparison sites were better/more accurate than they are! I use google's shopping facility amongst others and so often I find that the prices they quote aren't correct (and it 'slips' back into american results, what's that about?). They get postage wrong, they quote for a product that isn't what you asked for and generally they just aren't good enough. It can take quite a while to actually find the cheapest price using the results they give you as a guide (sigh!).I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0

I find eBay cheap for a lot of things that are unbranded - it's the hidden delivery charge that is a pig in a lot of places, I enjoy being able to order from a range of suppliers listed with postage and packaging included.0

I use https://www.find-dvd.co.uk to find the cheapest places for DVDs etc. Has always seemed pretty accurate so far.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0
