  • Sorry to ask, but why are you paying £500+ for a TV? You can get an excellent make and model for less than that, and not have to take out a loan to do so. If you want one of the stupidly large flat screens, then saving up for it would avoid you paying for a year for something that will be worth nothing and probably obsolete before the money has cleared.

    I know I'll get flamed for it, but is a new TV really such an essential that you have to go into debt for it?
    Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

    Wont get flamed from me (ah you meant the OP I bet), you can pick up refurbed models at decent prices.
