The November deals predictor says champagne for tomorrow the 19th November. I know it has not happened yet but thought I would remind people.

So has there been any good deal announced if so where?

The other thing is taste is such a subjective thing -Is it any good - the deal?

I was going to go to Aldi tomorrow anyway and hopefully it will be on there. I will let you know how I got on. Aldi usually supply alcohol I can drink so I will trust them. Not only that, they are usually price keen.

I could do with a bargain as I lurrv the stuff.

I've drunk my way through a fair few bottles of champagne (courtesy of wealthy parents which is why value burgers were a shock) and already picked up my favourite Taittinger when it was reduced from 36.25 to £27 in October at ASDA. Currently Ocado has it for £24 and Tesco for 24.66 to 03/12

Personally I don't rate Bollinger but it's on offer for 32.42 at Ocado, Tesco and Waitrose saving £10

Only supermarket which has Veuve Clicquot on offer seems to be Tesco at £30 and only supermarket with Pol Roger (Winston Churchill's favourite) on offer is Ocado at 32.99 saving £10

No offers on Krug in supermarkets but Ocado has 37.5ml half bottles of Krug Grande Cuvee NV for £75 - as my mother bought the champagne I may buy one, but if so it'll be the only alcohol I buy until Christmas 2014 !

Sainsbury's seems to be only supermarket discounting Piper Heidseick champagne - from 29.99 to £18 which is a bit of a bargain.

None of the supermarkets are discounting Dom Perignon but I once picked a bottle up from ASDA for £50 so you will find it on offer occasionally.

Laurent Perrier rose (much liked as everyday champagne by bankers) is down from 57.99 to 46.39 at Ocado and Waitrose.

Moet et Chandon 2004 is down to £35 at Tesco and ASDA although I don't know if 2004 was a good year. Personally don't go for the non vintage (NV) ditto Lanson. Big bubbles and horrible when going flat = bad champagne.

Heidseick Monopole Blue Top is down to £15 at ASDA and 12.49 at Sainsbury's which is pretty good.

I tried the Bissinger from Lidl and hated it. Bad wine with fizz is still bad wine.

Sometimes it's better to go for a special offer on a decent sparking wine. For example Wolf Blass Red Label and Yellow Label 2009 are made with two out of three champagne grape varieties and Ocado has the Yellow 2009 vintage for 8.99 and the Red for 7.99 while ASDA has the Yellow 2009 vintage for 10.98
