Just seen on Twitter that Smooth Radio Christmas will not be returning this year
I used to love listening to it on the radio in the kitchen!
Anyone know if there are any other Christmassy radio stations around?

Do you have Digital tv as there is a video channel called Bliss, which renames itself Blissmas and has started to play xmas vids, the other music channels also follow. There used to be a Christmas audio channel on sky, but I only recall it happening once a few years back0

Aw no I was looking forward to this starting up again - always makes me feel really festive.
I don't know about any other Christmassy radio stations, but I did come across a website the other day which is dedicated to Christmas music.
It's called yuleplay.com and has got loads of Christmas song playlists free of charge :xmassmile0 -
Love yuleplay.com, listened to Bing Crosby all day yesterday!0

Try listening to Smooth Christmas Radio found here http://www.smoothchristmasradio.com/
It is not at all connected with the smooth radio despite the confusingly similar name
You can listen online at the link above, I have the TuneIn radio app on my Iphone and Hudl and can listen on both of those. He also has a facebook page and when he is online will take requests, its fab :rudolf:0 -
Thanks for the Internet recommendations.
I think I am getting an Internet radio for Christmas so I will be all sorted for next year....but that does not solve my problem this year

Thanks, that is so helpful  :rotfl:0 -
I think I mentioned in another thread, there are a few Christmas themed stations/shows on TuneIn.com. I've been listening to 181.fm Christmas Rock. Mainly because I like Christmas, and I like Rock music. You don't have to register to use the site, but if you do, you can save radio stations to favorites, and it's free. I'm sure you could fine other Christmas music.0

Thanks. Yes, I use the Tunein app on my iPad and phone (mainly to listen to country music, which you just don't get here!) however I was after a radio station. Something I could listen to on the radio in the kitchen. Sad that it looks like it won't be a possibility0 -
No problem. BTW, I have had a logitech internet radio for a few years now, and they're brilliant. Not only all those world wide channels, but bbc iplayer (as an add on). Also, it connects to my pc, so I can listen to my music from anywhere on it, either using WiFi, or cable. Hope you enjoy it.0
