Ikea now charge 70p per transaction to use any credit card but their own.
If you take out one of the Ikea ccs, not only do they give you a free meal (for opening the card account) but everytime you visit the restaurant, you can get a free hot or cold drink by showing your card. This may not sound like much but it saves each cardholder 85p everytime they have a drink there. The meatballs are very nice.

12.9% APR (variable)*
Up to 55 days with no interest to pay** with up to £1,950 available to spend now***
Now seems like a pretty good time to bring your imagination along to IKEA. It could lead to bigger thinking throughout your home; why not refresh your window decorations? Maybe you could get that beautiful new leather sofa you were thinking about?
As a cardholder, you'll also receive:
- A guaranteed IKEA catalogue - hot off the press and direct to your door, before it's in the store!
- Early, detailed updates and IKEA news.
- Information direct from your local store, so you can be the first to know what's happening.
- Updates on design ideas and home furnishing inspiration.
- Up to 55 days with no interest to pay.**
- Flexible credit limits and repayment terms.
- In-store offers.
- Free tea and coffee in the restaurant.
- Additional cards and temporary cards available.
- No annual fee.0 -
And as a bonus they often seem to be running a promo where if you spend £100 on it when you're signing up then you'll get £15 off straight away. Given the average purchases in ikea i guess quite a lot of things would qualify for that!
Hope this helps peeps
