Car Servive with Diagnostics

Does any-one know a mechanic/garage who can offer diagnostic service on my Peugeot car?- it has what I think is a faulty sensor (dashboard warning), but want it checked out anyway.

I want to avoid Peugeot dealers prices if at all possible, so looking to see if any-one knows some-one who can do this and combine a general car service at the same time.

You can buy a diagnostic reader for a few pounds and read / lookup / clear the codes yourself. Once you get the code number then plug it in to google along the lines of "peugeot 307 1.6HDI fault code 2340" and see what it is.

It should give you an advantage in going to a mechanics "blind" as it were. Most mechanics these days have some sort of diagnostic equipment, but almost all will charge you for even just plugging it in.

Try DS Autos in Antrim.
They have all the equipment necessary,I was even advised by the local Vauxhall dealer to go there as they have more stuff than they have!!!
Have been using them for years for both our cars,never had any complaints:)
