could you not order them online?
Why would I want to order them on-line when I was in the store?

I thought sarah1972's suggestion was a valid and sensible one. I've got another suggestion, why don't you try a different store?

No need to be rude about it. The girl was only offering a valid alternative, as you said you couldn't get them in store for the price we said we have bought them for.

I was visiting the store to shop, saw the post beforehand and specifically looked for them in the store. The suggestion to buy online when I was already in the store seemed to be taking the idea of internet ordering to an extreme. I didn't intend to be rude.

I bet they would have scanned at the lower price.

because they were £9 in your store when you went in and only £6.75 online when you got home

I'm sorry I still don't see the problem with the reply to you?? You went to the shop to pick them up with other shopping. You went to SPECIFICALLY look for them at that price, and couldn't get them. If that were me, and I wanted them at that price, like many others, I would have came home and had a look online. Just like the poster suggested.
What I can't understand is why you were so rude to the poster when she made a valid suggestion, just like many others would have said to you also.
