Sprout Wreath ..... fake sprouts??

Options
I would love to make something like this for my sprout loving sister. Obviously I could use real ones but would love to make one to keep.
Any ideas where I could get fake sprouts from??
Have been searching on the net but not found any for sale anywhere.

  • Could make them with polystyrene balls and crepe paper? Or even newspaper balls and green crepe paper?
Should be quite simple, get any of the balls and paint green then cover with crepe to make the leaves.
I'd probaly use two shades of green crepe

you might be able to find something like fake rosebuds that are nice and fat & spray paint them green

As an aside, because your sister loves sprouts so much - I've seen little net bags of chocolate balls wrapped as sprouts - perhaps M&S?

Also, one year, my daughter bought my huband a green bauble and wrote 'sprouts' on it in glue and then rolled it in glitter - just a thought :).

I bought some of these in M&S for my sister's chocolate lucky dip.

our naughty elf strung sprouts round our Christmas tree one night. No-one noticed for a while as they look like baubles..... then the giggles started x
