Hi
I am looking to get a self certification mortgage since I have no set means of income at the moment but I do have the deposit and can afford to pay the repayments through family help.
Can anyone recommend a reputable company whom I can go through to get a mortgage?
Many Thanks for your Help

What is your own personal income?
What is the purchase price and what deposit do you have?

A lender will expect you to demonstrate the application is reasonable and robust.
This means putting a job title comensurate with income stated plus will require the address of your work / business and likely make checks in this regard.
Self cert does not mean lenders can lend irresponsibly. They have a duty of care to you to ensure you can afford the debt.
Getting harder by the day to get such mortgages as lenders are finding it hard to sell there mortgage books onto investors as investors are getting burned badly in the US due to high default rates.0 -
