How much someone is taxed is dependent on their earnings so no way of knowing without saying what your wage wil be.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

It's £9,440 to be precise but just because it's a temp, part time contract doesn't necessarily mean it's less than this and you also need to include any other taxable earnings etc for the year.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I know of someone who works only 8 hours a week and they get paid £40,000 for those 8 hours I hope they are getting taxed!
There is a tax allowance as others have stated but don't forget National Insurance kicks in at a much lower level. (about £7700 £149 per week or on an 18 hour contract £8.27 per hour)I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
I'm only on 6.49 an hour0

£6.49 x 16 = £103.84 a week - this is below the NI level, and if it is your only income no tax will be due.But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
